Fergus Falls Goose Hunts

Maybe Rochester is a little to far of a travel for a one day hunt, or maybe you want a change of scenery.  Well Fergus Falls is another destination location for goose hunting in Minnesota.  The goose hunting starts early in September and the birds are stay late into winter due to year round open water due to a power plant in town.  This is a staging area for Canada Geese from Northern Minnesota and also Canada.

Dates: September 3 - September 22, 2011
Opening Weekend Rates: $150 / half day
Early Season: $125 / half day for the remainder of the Early Season
State Fee: $4 Early goose season permit

Minnesota Regular Season
Dates:     October 02 - December 25, 2011
Rates:     $100.00 per hunter/per hunt for field or pit hunts
