Snow Goose Hunting Blinds
We teased Kris most of all for her nap in the field but we all did it at one point...
The blinds are low-profile, full body, tub blinds. That means they're waterproof, wind-proof, and comfortable on the coldest of spring hunts. We were fully-dressed in camo waterfowl gear but it is still cold until that sun gets high in the sky. We were all guilty of tucking down into the blinds to "get out of the wind".
Notice the windsock decoys set right up against the blind. We want the decoy itself to conceal the outline of the blind. We really do go all out to make sure that any guided snow goose hunt is a success.
Kris Winkelman is smiling in this photo but she was sleeping 30 seconds prior!
We didn't catch anyone snoring until the last day and that person shall remain nameless.
However, we had him on a wireless mic and we were able to patch the audio into the electronic call!
Even Babe Winkelman took time to stretch out in the blind.
