Specklebelly Goose Hunting
We don't go chasing specklebelly geese but they come diving head-long into the snow goose spread either way. The group in the picture below worked their way into the snow goose decoys from half a mile out. They turned into the wind, dove down to 15 feet off the ground and locked up their wings to land at 20 yards. They were so sure of themselves that we actually yelled at them from our layout blinds, "Bang! Bang!" to turn them off.
